Dubbo in western New South Wales is home to some
of the most pampered chooks in the country.
At David Geering's property on the western side of the city, ]
hundreds of chickens either roam free or nest in the pens and
coops dotted around the property.
David has hand selected a number of his finest fowl he will
prepare for showing at the upcoming Royal Easter Show in Sydney.
The event is one of the most prestigious on the poultry-showing
calendar, and this year seven Dubbo breeders are heading to the
show to try their luck.

"I'm a naturally competitive person," David said.

"But the real joy is in breeding a bird, hand selecting it, preparing it,
showing it, winning, and then seeing the bird take on champion status."

We will research the web to find as many resources  as we can to help with educating our members in showing their  poultry.  If you have something that you feel will help out with here on this page just drop us a line to info@maransofamericaclub.com
