The Marans of America Club is the only USA Marans club that has been endorsed By the Marans Club of France directly by Christian Herment-Pres. - MCF.  Joining the MOAC club is strictly voluntary. A person can enjoy the whole MOAC web site whether they are a member or not. We don't believe in making a person pay to be able to enjoy the benefits of knowledge. Just the devotion towards breeding the Marans correctly is what a club should be about. We feel that will do more for the future of Marans.

Hi, I have a small flock of Black Copper Marans, and am planning on expanding. I have learned so much through this website, and very much want to become a part of this organization.
I have my first batch of Marans hatching today (19 chicks so far). It is so
exciting. I have kept chickens for 40 years but it still thrills me when
they push their way out of the egg. I purchased hatching eggs on eBay from
Thom Dean and Stefan Givens after joining the Marans of America Club and
checking on which members were selling eggs. They were both nice to work
with and lovely, dark eggs were well wrapped.
You have a great website with lots of helpful information. Thank you so
much. Looking forward to learning more about the breed.
